Servo offers full service repairs on DC Shunt motors under ONE TON in size. Every servo motor (including DC Shunt motors) that comes into our facility is repaired with the following features:
• In-house electrical motor rewinding to original manufacturer's specifications
• One year warranty from installation date
 • Warranty tracking on ALL repairs by serial number
• Same day turnaround service available at NO extra charge
Our servo motor repairs have a less than 1% yearly failure rate, which is the lowest in the industry. We also do NOT use any flat rate pricing. We only charge for what is wrong with the motor, which means a significant cost savings for you!
In order to keep your down time to a minimum and save you money, each of our DC Shunt motors are repaired with the following extra services:
• Expert mechanical and electrical repair capability
• 30 years of D/C winding experience
• 500V/240V armature testing and 300V/150V field testing
• Brush rigging neutral set
• In-house armature rewinds to OEM specs: mush wound and formed coil type windings
• In-house form coil rewinds to OEM specs
• Copper windings and class H insulation materials including class H varnish
• Balancing to Class 1 or better
• Vibration testing on SKF isolation table with Entek IRD vibration test equipment
• Closed loop testing of tachometers as well as necessary electronic tests
