Servo repairs hundreds of Fanuc servo's every month.

Stator windings: lack of varnish on coil ends of windings; hardly any tie cords, no phase paper, LOOSE WIRES.

Another example of a conventional motor shop's bad Fanuc rewind.  Notice the class F red insulation varnish and the gritty contamination that was never cleaned off.  Servo's varnish tank is pure and clean and our varnish is tested monthly for proper PH levels.Fanuc Rewind

Rewind on left done by conventional motor shop with conventional winding machine. Conversions do not work because the end bells won't fit when reassembled.

Rewind on the right done by SMD on a (CPW) continuous phase winding machine. A perfect fit everytime.

Most Fanuc encoders used on later S series and Alpha series motors have a ribbon cable going from the connector to the PC board.  Extreme care must be taken when attaching the mating connector.

Fanuc D/C brakes are repairable.  Servo makes their own armature plates and friction discs while rewinding the brakes coils.  Customers save a lot of money on Servo's brake rebuilds versus the cost of a new - usually unavailable - brake from Fanuc. exploded brake

Servo tech final testing a Fanuc size 20s S series servo motor.  All Fanuc servo motors are closed loop tested on Fanuc test systems.

One of the worst designed encoders by Fanuc.  Because the connectors are exposed and very leaky, customers only hope to keep coolant out of the motor is to mount the motor with the connector facing down; or to silicone all around the connector.
