Warranty Policy

Servo Motors Drives warrants its in-house servo and spindle motor repairs to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for One (1) year from the date of installation. Servo Motors Drives warrants the whole motor and its associated parts, not just new parts used in the repair.

1. Servo Motors Drives must be given written notice of the defect and the original installation date.
2. Any equipment returned must be returned to Servo Motors Drives at its place of business freight prepaid.
3. If any previous repairs or alterations have been made to the equipment (other than by Servo Motors Drives), Purchaser must have obtained Servo Motors Drives's written approval prior to the repairs or alterations.
4. The equipment must have been operated under normal load and usage conditions and in a relatively clean environment. In addition the defects must not have occurred from improper installation, application, operation, circuit protection, assembly or repair.
5. Servo Motors Drives does not pay or reimburse any travel expenses or service calls to the Purchaser.

Limitations

The above warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise arising under applicable law, including, but not limited to, the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or use. Purchaser's exclusive remedy shall be, at Servo Motors Drives's sole election, repair or replacement, or return of the purchase price or fee paid to Servo Motors Drives for the particular defective product or service. In no event shall Servo Motors Drives, or any other affiliated company of Servo Motors Drives, be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages including, without limitation, loss of profits, revenue or expenses resulting from any down time, whether or not caused by the negligence of Servo Motors Drives or its agents.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

No dealer, agent or employee or other representative of Servo Motors Drives is authorized to modify this warranty or make any other additional warranties other than the limited warranty stated above.

The accepted quotation, purchase order, and invoice represents the entire Agreement between Servo Motors & Drives and the Purchaser.

Servo Motors & Drives Fanuc Electronic Repair Policy

Servo Motors and Drives warrants its FANUC electronic repairs to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for One ( 1 ) year from the date of invoice. Servo warrants the whole unit and its associated parts, not just new parts used in the repair. Servo also offers an extended warranty of One ( 1 ) year from installation date on the actual parts replaced and the labor performed in the actual repair.

1. Servo must be given written notice of the defect and the original installation date.
2. Any equipment returned must be returned to Servo at its place of business freight prepaid.
3. If any previous repairs or alterations have been made to the equipment (other than by SMD), Purchaser must have obtained Servo's written approval prior to the repairs or alterations.
4. The equipment must have been operated under normal load and usage conditions and in a relatively clean environment. In addition the defects must not have occurred from improper installation, application, operation, circuit protection, assembly or repair.

Servo Motors Drives warrants its RMR Spindle Repair Division spindle repairs to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 6 months from the date of invoice. Servo warrants the whole unit and its associated parts, not just new parts used in the repair

1. Servo must be given written notice of the defect and the original installation date.
2. Any equipment returned must be returned to Servo at its place of business freight prepaid.
3. If any previous repairs or alterations have been made to the equipment (other than by SMD), Purchaser must have obtained Servo's written approval prior to the repairs or alterations.
